Search For Flickr Photos By Color
It would be better if the folks at Flickr would implement this wonderful idea but unfortunately they don't have such plans to do so. However, we can use other Web apps to help us find Flickr photos by color. One of them got to be a Japanese site called Flickr Color Selectr. Although the words are in Japanese, but the creator is thoughtful enough to include English translation to accompany it.
To browse Flickr photos, simply select a color from the color picker using a slider of enter the value of the RGB (red, blue and green) color space and HSV (hue, saturation and value). When you've chosen a color, the background will automatically change and photos related to the color will be shown. To view the orignial Flickr photo, click on the image and you'll be directed to the Flickr user's photo.
Flickr Color Selectr is created by SlightlyBlue and is powered by the Flickr API.

Picsviewr currently provides 7 different templates which includes Tiltviewer, Polariod gallery, Photos stack, Wall, Mini wall, dfGallery, Slide film Gallery, Flashapi, Grey gallery and Black gallery.
As you enter your Flickr's username (in your Flickr's dashboard, click on photostream and copy and paste the URL into the textfield provided), Picsviewr lets you choose whether you'd want medium or high quality for your photos. Select one of your preferred design and click "Demo". Using the drop-down menu in the photo viewer, you can select which photos you'd like to view by choosing the tags.
If you love what you see, you can bookmark it and view the page anytime you want.

Flickr + Adobe AIR = Rich Browsing Expe rience on Flickroom
Checking really stunning photographs on Flickr uploaded by professional photographers does offers a sense of happiness and excitement. You would be “Wow-ing” here and there as you look through your photostream filled with beautiful Fireworks displays taken during Independence Day. However, Flickroom, an Adobe AIR app which offers almost the same features as leading photo-sharing site Flickr provides a much richer browsing experience to make your photographs look better than ever before.
It’s a desktop-based application that comes with a dark theme accompanied with several cool features such as the ability to upload multiple photographs from your desktop using a drag-and-drop interface and tweet about them directly from the application. Users can easily edit the title and description. Additionally, adding new tags and images to a group or a set is also possible. There are quite a number of impressive features Flickroom offers. For example, there’s a built-in chatroom which allows you to interact and communicate with other Flickroom users who are online at that moment.
