HP’s DreamScreen: Not your father’s Digital Picture Frame

It’s always refreshing when a digital photo frame comes out that is different from the many other ones out there. In the case of the HP DreamScreen, it might not be fair to call it a digital photo frame. The DreamScreen allows the user the ability to connect to his or her home network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and then drag and drop files through the network. Of course, if you want use the old fashioned method that involves using memory cards and flash drives. There is about 2GB worth of storage on this guy, and it is capable of playing video and music files. The music feature is helpful if you want to make a slideshow, but if this DreamScreen really is net connected, then you could just tune into some Internet radio. As for the controls, they are located on touch sensitive controls on the right hand side of the screen, or through the wireless remote. Yes, it is not a touchscreen.
