Send Free Faxes Over the Internet
Need to send a fax to someone but you don't have one? Or you already have a document on your computer but don't wish to take the trouble to print and fax it? Even though email seems to be the best alternative, but some companies just don't want it. Of course, the it would be great and convenient to fax something over the Internet.
FaxZero is a useful free Internet faxing service which allows you to send a fax to any fax machine in the United States or Canada. It doesn't requires registration and all you need to do is to fill in your particulars, including the other party's. Users can only fax 1 document per fax and it currently only supports .DOC and .PDF files. If you just want to fax plain text, simply type it in the textfield provided. Definitely, there will be some limitations such as you can only fax a maximum of 3 pages per document and up to 2 free faxes daily.
Since FaxZero is free, you might wonder how the folks there survive the operating costs. As the founder explained on the site "The service is supported by advertising on the web site and on the cover pages of the free faxes you send. We have a partnership with the good folks at Metro Hi Speed, who provide us with a great deal on Internet fax services. "
To receive more features, sign up for the premium service for $1.99 per fax. If you own a business, I would suggest you to use your personal fax machine instead since I feel that it's not worth it when you send tons of ad-free faxes on a daily basis. FaxZero is bascially suitable for personal use which you can send free faxes to your friends provided he or she has a fax machine.
