- Open Youtube and copy the URL like below...

- Open VLC Media Player and Click on the Media Menu then "open network stream" like below screen shot given
Copy required Youtube URL from address bar.Paste URL in address field available in VLC without "http://" like below "set the protocal HTTP" link- and click on play
