Followers Being Organized By Tweetpler

Since the launch of the most popular micro-blogging platform on the Web, Twitter has attracted many developers to create hundreds of Twitter apps. Most Twitter users use the platform to promote a product/software, using it as a fan club for celebrities and sharing one's daily life with others on the Twitterverse.
Some useful apps I'm using include Tweetlater (schedule Tweets and automated welcoming direct messages), Twhirl (a Twitter desktop client) and Twitterholic (checking the ranks and information of Twitterers). Today, I'm going to share with you another app called Tweepler. Just likeFriendOrFollow, it helps you organize your Twitter followers with ease by showing you detailed information such as Avg Tweets, Total Tweets, Number of Followers, Number Following and the Followers to Following Ratio. Basically, the main objective of this app is to let you follow those that you don't follow back. It's the common mindset that when most Twitterers follow others, they would of course want to be followed too. As the founder explains on the site, "We know people love Twitter, they love to follow and be followed - but the process of actually sorting these new followers becomes a job in itself. Tweepler fixes this issue by providing a much more simplistic and enjoyable "befriending" experience." Just like some other Twitter apps, it requires you to enter your Twitter credentials before you can start organizing. Since I've over 12,000 followers and following 11,000+ people, it took me quite a while to import and load the data. Therefore, if you've tons of followers or friends, you got to be patient with the new service. Once the data is presented to you, you can start classifying your followers in three different buckets: “Follow”, “Ignore” and "Unprocessed Followers". Tweepler is indeed a much needed and more intuitive way of organizing your Twitter account. It's created by Cory Schop (a social media enthusiast, serial web entrepreneur) and Jessy Ouellette (a fulltime consultant).
